Verity & Paul’s wedding was IN-CREDIBLE! Homemade touches, a gorgeous colour scheme, the most unique wedding venue, hilarious speeches, a wild band, some serious dance moves, and an amazing bride and groom! ...WHAT A WEDDING!

On the morning go their wedding, Verity got ready at home with her mum and five bridesmaids by her side. I arrived to a house full of excitement and just knew their wedding was going to be an absolute corker!

They left for the ceremony, with Verity’s proud dad waiting for her arrival at The Bear of Rodborough. He couldn’t keep in his tears when he saw how beautiful his daughter looked- and was so excited to walk her down the aisle, to her happily ever after.

Their ceremony took place in ‘The Library’- a stunning ceremony room within The Bear of Rodborough!I had never shot at this venue before, but it is honestly so gorgeous, and so full of character. It is situated on the edge of Minchinhampton Common in Stroud, and overlooks stunning National Trust Gloucestershire countryside (perfect for those newlywed portraits). Inside was just as breathtaking as outside- and I fell in love with it instantly. Back to Verity and Paul… From happy tears to beaming smiles, it was a beautiful celebration of the love they share, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

After the ceremony, everyone headed outside for a fun confetti aisle, before we gathered everyone together for the group photographs.

After the group photos, and while everyone was happily chatting and enjoying a drink, we slipped away for some relaxed portraits of the newlyweds. These quieter moments are always some of my favourites, giving couples a chance to pause for a few minutes and simply enjoy being together as newlyweds while I capture them naturally. And these guys were so wonderful to photograph- next to no direction was needed, and their photos perfectly reflect their love story.

Guests were then seated for the wedding breakfast, with speeches taking place before the meal. Verity's dad started the speeches with heartfelt words, followed by Paul, before best men Nick, Ben and Adam delivered a brilliant joint speech that had everyone laughing.(side note- this venue was a solid 10/10 for food too).

As the evening guests began to arrive, the celebrations continued. The cake was cut before everyone gathered around to watch Verity and Paul share their first dance together, officially opening the dance floor, ready for the band to start. Their band was SO much fun- they had everyone up, orgnanising crazy dances and getting everyone to sing along- which had everyone having the time of their life (especially the Groom)!

It was an absolute pleasure to capture every part of their day, from the excitement of the morning preparations through to the shapes being thrown on the dance floor.

Verity and Paul…Thank you both for trusting me to document such an important chapter of your lives. It was an absolute joy to be part of your wedding, and I wish you both every happiness for the future together.x Vendors: Dress: alterations done (and bow made by) @amyheatherbridal
